I love coming to this place; definitely one of my favorite spots in Connecticut to recharge with yourself. It is great for running, hiking, biking, and walking.
I love that there is a bench every 1/2 mile, so you can tell how far are you into the trail (this is only for the first 2 miles).
Well it's an easy trail beautiful quite really friendly residents. Note this trial doesn't have parking it more for the people who live in the area they did seem to mind us using the trail though.
A nice flat, relatively smooth trail that is great for walking running or biking. Beautiful views , even some areas to do some trout sport fishing or dip your toes in the river.
Easily accessible from town. Beware parking (on Tait road) could get filled easily on good days but there is some on-street parking available. The trail could be busy as well but there is ample room.
Beautiful spot along the river, great flat bike path plus mountain biking trails
